“The deep tissue and muscle massage I received from Karen was extremely effective in reducing the amount of pain I experience whenever I sleep in a non-adjustable bed on vacation. I have osteoarthritis and five bulging disks in my lower back and after only two nights in a strange bed I was miserable. I expected some relief but I never expected to walk out of OC Massage feeling like I had renewed promise of enjoying the remainder of my vacation. “Massage therapy has been part of my self-care routine for over 20 years. The therapists at OC Massage – namely Michelle and Amanda – provide the best deep tissue massages I have ever had!
I struggled with chronic TI Band and calf/achilles/plantar fasciitis issues for almost a year before coming OC Massage. In two sessions, Michelle worked magic to resolve all the problems. I’m now a regular client and see Michelle or Amanda to keep my muscles happy!
Overall, the team at OC Massage is friendly, hospitable, and attentive. Before every massage the therapist will inquire as to changes since last visit or problem areas to focus on; additional needs like feet warmers or extra blankets; and they always make sure the temperature of the bed is perfect! The facility is welcoming and homey with a serene beach vibe, right down to the ocean waves tranquility music. The North OC location is also perfect – tucked away from the bustle of the boards and downtown – with plenty of parking.
My husband and I typically go for the couple’s massage and make a day of it with a walk on the beach (right across the street), an amazing massage, then lunch or dinner at our favorite beach/bay-side spot. It’s the perfect way to spend a day in OC!”

“I decided to stop in on Black Friday and I got lucky. They had an opening and I was able to be seen immediately. When I was back in my room, I explained to Karen that I suffered from chronic headaches and I thought a massage centering on head, neck, and shoulders might help me. The result was a truly amazing session which was informative and supportive of my massage needs going forward. Before I entered OC Massage, I could not turn my neck fully to the left or right without pain and restricted movement. Upon leaving, I had fully movement of my neck.
